Labyrinthos offers a wide range of maze and labyrinth related services. Founded in 2000 by Jeff & Kimberly Saward to provide an information resource for those working with labyrinths and mazes, we have an extensive photographic & illustration library and archive, and offer professional consultation and design services for owners, designers, publishers and producers, etc. Labyrinthos also publishes and stocks a wide range maze and labyrinth related books, publications and products from around the world. Consultation and Design Services

Thinking of building your own labyrinth or maze and not sure where to begin? Need help with design ideas, thoughts on suitable materials or locations?

We have been involved with the design, construction and restoration of numerous labyrinths and mazes over the years and can provide advice on all aspects of the process, assistance with design choices and suggestions for construction materials. Specializing in replicas and Adaptations of important historic labyrinths and mazes, we can also provide documentation for proposals and plans and measurements for layouts. Maize maze, 100 x 72 metres, designed and built by Labyrinthos, at Hadleigh Castle Country Park, Essex, England. The maze was open during the month of August 2005, and attracted some 7000 visitors during its four-week lifespan.

Photographic & Illustration Library

We have an unrivaled collection of photographs of labyrinths and mazes from around the world - several thousand images at the last count. We also have an extensive collection of artwork and line illustration, suitable for illustrative purposes and publications and can create graphics to order. Jeff Saward's beautiful photographs of labyrinths have appeared in many books and magazines, and received much praise. He also has an extensive collection of photographs of sacred sites and landscapes and can be commissioned to photograph your maze or labyrinth or to provide photography for publishing projects. Caerdroia - the Journal of Mazes and Labyrinths

Founded in 1980 and published annually, our journal Caerdroia acts as a forum for labyrinth research, the publication of important archive material and serves as a monitor of current developments in the field. Each edition contains papers, notes, news and views on the latest discoveries, theories and ideas from researchers and enthusiasts worldwide. Between us we have many years experience of writing, editing and production of labyrinth and maze-related books, magazines and articles. Our knowledge of the history, distribution and purposes of labyrinths and mazes worldwide is second to none, Jeff was the historical editor for the English-language translation of Hermann Kern's "Through the Labyrinth," and between us we have been consulted for many publishing and promotional projects on this subject. Labyrinthine Curios

Tohono O'odham "man in the Maze" basket As labyrinth enthusiasts ourselves, from time to time we acquire all manner of labyrinthine curios for our own collection, and occasionally additional items which are available for sale. We particularly specialize in Native American "Man-in-the-Maze" baskets and jewelry, and can obtain items to order for collectors. Speaker, Slideshow and Events Services

Both Jeff & Kimberly are experienced public speakers and workshop presenters, and lecture extensively in the UK, Europe and the USA to both enthusiast and academic groups, appearing regularly at the annual Labyrinth Society Conferences in America. With the accompaniment of slides from our extensive collection, we can tailor our presentations to just about any aspect of labyrinths and mazes that will suit your audience - everything from the history of labyrinths and mazes, their folklore and traditions, to their meaning in society, past and present. We also provide workshops drawing on Kimberly's unique insight into the cross-cultural, spiritual and psychological perspectives of labyrinth walking.
