Church & Cathedral LabyrinthsOnce widespread throughout western Europe, many labyrinths in churches and cathedrals have been destroyed, but their designs are sometimes preserved in manuscripts and antiquarian texts. Labyrinthos has a considerable collection of these plans and engravings, along with plans of lost and surviving labyrinths created by Jeff Saward. A selection of these are reproduced below, and similar graphic plans can be produced to order.
All of the images on this page (and many more besides!) are available for licenced reproduction. For details of reproduction fees and permission proceedures, send us an e-mail with details of your planned usage and format requirements. We have many more graphics and images in our archive and can produce plans and graphics to order. If you have specific requirements, please ask. © Labyrinthos 2003 ~ this page last updated 08/10/2003 |
